Seville, May 3, 2024. There have been no script departures on Friday’s quarterfinals in the Premier Padel Andalucía Sevilla P2, which has sent its best couples to compete for a place for Sunday’s grand final in La Cartuja.

Paquito-Lebron will be in the semifinals after defeating the Andalusians Momo-Ruiz 7-6/6-2 in a match that has raised the expectations of the Andalusian stadium. Victory also for Coello-Tapia in the last round of the afternoon against Yanguas-Garrido (6-1/6-2). Triumph also for Chingotto-Galán against Sánchez-Gutiérrez (6-2/6-2) and Stupaczuk-Di Nenno (6-2/6-2) against Goenaga-Zapata.

The Top-4 of female couples will also make up the semifinals, with a day that started with a strong result from Salazar-Fernández (6-1/6-1) in a match where Llaguno-Sainz could not do anything. The same has happened in the Sánchez-Josemaría against Ortega-Virseda (6-2/6-0) and in the González-Brea against Riera-Araújo (6-2/6-2), but not in the only match of the women’s draw played on Court 2, which was suffered so that Tamara-Icardo could add the victory (6-2/2-6/6-4) against Castelló-Jensen.

La Cartuja is preparing to host four great games on Saturday, which will present the highest attendance of the week after a sold out announced months ago. Outstanding match for Paquito-Lebron against the Superpibes (second shift at 12 noon) on a day when Sánchez-Josemaría opens against Fernández-Sánchez at 12:00 noon.
The afternoon begins with an Icardo-Salazar against Brea-González (4pm) and a Coello-Tapia against Chingotto-Galán in the second round.
