The 2024 Pro Padel League calendar’s first phase is already over. In their home match versus their team, the Miami Padel Club defeated Las Vegas Smash and took home the title.
There was no need for a mixed match in the final round, in contrast to the semi-final match. Following victories in the women’s match and the men’s match, the local team, Miami, would take the lead.
After beating Marta Ortega and Marta Talaván 7-6 and 6-3, Ari Sánchez and Marta Talaván would be in responsibility of adding the first point to the local team’s scoreboard.
Shortly after, Agustín Tapia and Jon Sanz faced Pablo Cardona and Gonza Alfonso on the court. In this first round of the Pro Padel League schedule, the first player, representing the Miami squad, prevailed with scores of 6-3 and 6-3.
This Tuesday, April 9, the second stage of the competition will begin, also in Miami.
