The world’s top professional padel tour, Premier Padel, has announced the addition of David Serrahima as General Manager, marking yet another significant senior hire to its management group. Premier Padel is now the only unified worldwide tour in professional padel.
To take the initiative to the next level, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) has completely redesigned the tour’s management staff since the beginning of the year. As Managing Director of the sports marketing firm Octagon, David Serrahima is among the top sports executives in Spain. In order to spearhead the project’s next stage of expansion, he will keep his current role at Premier Padel in addition to assuming a significant role there.
Along with Vice President Luigi Carraro (who also serves as President of the International Padel Federation), CEO and QSI Senior Executive David Sugden, and Commercial Director Rob Mitchell, Serrahima is a member of the newly formed Premier Padel Executive Committee. He will be in charge of overseeing the entire 25-tournament tour, which is now taking place in 17 different countries, and directing the project’s strategy, giving special attention to promoters, players, the international schedule, innovation, people, culture, and brand.

Premier Padel is the premier official professional padel tour in the world, established by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) in collaboration with the Professional Padel Association (PPA) and the International Padel Federation (FIP). In the first year of the competition, which was initiated in 2022 and backed by the PPA, more than 500 players from all over the world participated in Premier Padel events held in some of the most recognizable locations, such as Paris’ Stade Roland-Garros.
