In the opening round, Lebron and Paquito, as the second starting couple, will take on Jaime Muñoz and Javier García. Galán and Chingotto, the third couple, will take on Alex Arroyo and Edu Alonso. Both couples would face off in the semifinals of the event if they made it that far. Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello are still awaiting their opponents from the qualifying round. The top team will try to win their fourth championship of the year, following victories in Venezuela, Qatar, and Mexico.
