While it won’t feature in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, it is being considered for Brisbane 2032. To be included, the sport must meet specific criteria set by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), such as being widely practiced in numerous countries across multiple continents.
A decision on its inclusion for Brisbane 2032 is expected by 2025. With its rapid global growth and expanding popularity, padel is positioning itself as a strong candidate for recognition on the Olympic stage.
