West Sacramento is set to become a new hotspot for padel enthusiasts with the announcement of a state-of-the-art padel facility near Sutter Health Park and Drake’s Barn. This exciting development is spearheaded by Park Padel, a Bay Area-based company, which plans to open a four-court padel center this fall.
Padel, a dynamic racket sport that blends elements of tennis and squash, has been gaining popularity worldwide. The sport is known for its fast-paced, social nature, making it a perfect fit for the vibrant community of West Sacramento. The new facility will be located in the Bridge District, a revitalized area known for its scenic riverfront views and modern amenities.
The padel courts will be situated just north of Drake’s Barn, a popular outdoor tap house, providing players with easy access to food and drink options. The facility will cover approximately 24,000 square feet and feature shaded lounge areas where players can relax and socialize between matches.
