A £400,000 padel club has launched at a hotel in Cheshire with the goal of becoming a legendary destination for players of all skill levels.
Located on the beautifully manicured grounds of the Mottram Hall Hotel, The Hook Club officially opened for play on July 25. UK Padel Courts is the company that created and installed it. The Hook Club, named after the padel shot “El Gancho,” has three Superpanoramic padel courts that were created by Padelgest, a company based in Spain and the manufacturer of the first courts used in the World Padel Tour. A fully licensed clubhouse featuring a heated patio area, an integrated sound system, and a furnished change area complements the playing facilities.
As the coach coordinator for the team, Jon Cain is joining. Professionals Sam Brown and Mike Rouse, as well as club padel manager Joanne Patterson, are with him. The Padel Group’s first location is The Hook Club. The director, Morgan Davies, stated:
“Our primary aim was to create a padel club that offers an unmatched player experience.
“We have invested a significant amount in this project to ensure that The Hook Club stands out on the UK padel scene. I am very proud of what we have achieved in the beautiful surroundings of Champneys Mottram Hall.
“Padel is a sport that’s here to stay and we have created a fantastic environment for players of all abilities to play padel and socialise.”
