The partnership between adidas and Ale Galán will continue for a few more years . This Tuesday, July 25, it was made official that the acclaimed player from Madrid has extended his contract with adidas, the global sports brand.
Since joining in 2018, Galán has had remarkable growth, accumulating a whopping 34 World Padel Tour titles that allowed him to remain number one in the world for 3 consecutive years.
In Premier Padel, the adidas player already has 10 titles with the one he won this past weekend at the Italy Major at the iconic Foro Italico.
Bjoern Gulden , CEO of adidas, received Galán at the headquarters in Nuremberg , marking a significant milestone in the history of padel. This renewal not only consolidates Galán’s relationship with adidas, but also demonstrates the German brand’s continued commitment to padel.
Galán becomes the first padel player to join the select “universe of the chosen ones” of adidas , sharing recognition with legends such as Muhammad Ali , Stan Smith and Zinedine Zidane . This distinction ensures that his legacy remains in the adidas historical archive alongside other important items from renowned athletes.
Galán commented : “ It is an honor to continue being linked to a world-renowned brand like Adidas. Visiting the headquarters and seeing my racket in the universe of the chosen ones alongside objects from sports legends is something unimaginable .”
