The man behind this incredible event is José Bernal, a professional paddle tennis player who dreamed of bringing together famous football players who are skilled with paddles for a major competition. Ronald De Boer and Cristian Panucci, among others, have graced the courts in previous editions.
Bernal emphasized at the presentation in April the benefits of the competition for the city’s economy and for elevating Marbella to the status of a top sports and tourism destination.
