Eva Longoria has landed in padel. The actress, who has more than 10 million followers on Instagram , has the racket as her new passion. We already saw her last February making her first steps in the Hexagon Cup as owner of the ElevenEleven Team USA, but now she has taken a step further.
This past Tuesday in Marbella, the Texan participated in the Star Padel Slam, a charity event. The tournament, which was held at the Nueva Alcántara Marbella paddle tennis club, will donate part of the profits raised to the Global Gift Foundation project, Casa Ángeles .
The project includes a multifunctional centre responsible for offering cutting-edge therapies and treatments to children with rare and chronic diseases.
Eva has expressed her satisfaction with the reception that the event has received, and explained in statements to Efe that “everything is ready for the Global Gift summer gala”, the flagship event that the foundation hosts in Spain.
The stars
Paquito Navarro, Gemma Triay, Juan Martín Diaz, Pablo Cardona and the footballer Marcos Alonso also wanted to be part of the event. Casa Ángeles serves more than 500 families and nearly 800 children , offering them individual therapies with an interdisciplinary team of occupational therapists, psychologists, speech therapists and physiotherapists.
