Aguero, Gasly and Longoria have fun playing padel in celebrity padel competition at Alpine Hexagon Cup in Madrid

The Alpine Hexagon Cup in Madrid has always been a spectacle, but this year’s edition took the excitement to a whole new level with a star-studded celebrity padel competition. The event saw football legend Sergio Aguero, Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly, and Hollywood actress Eva Longoria battling it out on the padel courts.

The Alpine Hexagon Cup is a unique team competition that brings together elite padel players and celebrities. This year, eight franchises participated, each led by renowned personalities. Aguero, who co-founded the Krü Padel by Taktika franchise with Lionel Messi, teamed up with Gabriel PK to take on some of the best in the sport. Gasly, co-owner of the 10Padel team, partnered with Loïc Fery, while Longoria led her ElevenEleven team alongside Dani Homedes.

The tournament kicked off with an Alpine Pro-Am match, where celebrities and professional players competed together. Aguero faced off against another iconic striker, Andriy Shevchenko, in a thrilling encounter. Gasly and Longoria also showcased their skills, adding to the excitement of the event.

The competition was fierce, with top-ranked players such as Agustín Tapia, Arturo Coello, and Paula Josemaría participating. The event spanned four days, with pairings from each team competing in a round-robin format before the finals on Sunday.
