For a few days, the Canary Islands will host one of the highest category events of the International Padel Federation circuit held in Spain, the FIP STAR Gran Canaria 2024 , a tournament belonging to the Cupra FIP Tour 2024 and counting towards the international, national and Canarian circuits. The event will be held from August 13 to 18 at the facilities located in the Plaza Mayor Fernando Ortiz Wiot (Plaza Churruca) on Avenida de Las Canteras, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria , with a qualifying phase on the courts of the Club La Calzada.
This Thursday it was presented with the presence of the Minister of Education and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands, Hipólito Suárez , Carla Campoamor , Councilor for Sports of the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Victor Navarro , representative of the Insular Institute of Sports of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the manager of Alberto’s Perfum, José Luis Alberto , Elena González , Marketing assistant of LIVVO, Luis Sicilia , manager of the La Calzada Club and Diego Gil, president of the Canary Islands Padel Federation.
