The Clyma Padel Club, a new sports space dedicated to promoting padel in Telde, has opened its doors as part of a project by a family business committed to the community and the development of sport. Located in the facilities of the Nexsport Sports Club, in La Barranquera, Clyma enjoys a privileged location that favors the practice of sport, healthy living and leisure.
The club has five padel courts in excellent condition, as they have only been used for a few months. “We want to make Clyma a very friendly club. Therefore, in addition to being able to go and play in a friendly manner, we offer a system for creating matches with players of a similar level. Thanks to our ranking, you will not be left without padel! You just have to open your match and we will take care of closing it,” they explain from the club.
As-Clyma Paddle Academy
One of the club’s pillars is its padel academy, led by Aday Santana, a former professional player from the Canary Islands who reached the top positions in the world rankings. The As-Clyma Academy offers a complete program that covers both technical and tactical improvement, adapted to individual and group needs. “Our approach is designed to raise the level of all players, with personalized and group training,” say the club’s promoters.
Events and competitions
At Clyma, we also focus on holding sporting events and days to enjoy padel in a relaxed and family atmosphere, combining competitiveness with sportsmanship. Among the events, the American Tournaments are organised by qualified personnel, with surprises and prizes for participants.
Clyma Paddle League
The club will soon launch the 1st Clyma Padel League, a competition for couples that will start on September 1 and end on February 28, 2025, culminating in a Final Master from March 7 to 9. The league will offer cash prizes of 1,100 euros, as well as high-end paddles and sports equipment. The registration period is open until August 20.
