Juan Lebrón and Paquito Navarro to play together in Brussels and Seville

Juan Lebrón and Paquito Navarro, the first Spanish players to achieve world number 1, have announced their return to the padel scene in 2024 after five years. They have already registered for the Brussels and Seville Premier Padel tournaments, starting as couple 2 behind Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia.

The Spaniards Juan Lebrón and Paquito Navarro made it official this Wednesday on their respective social networks that they will once again form a couple in 2024, after five years and they have even already registered in the Brussels and Seville tournaments, where they will start as a couple 2 behind the best duo in the world today, the Spanish Arturo Coello and the Argentine Agustín Tapia.

This new duo is already registered for the Brussels and Seville Premier Padel tournaments, category P2, scheduled for the last week of April and the first week of May, and in which they will start as couple 2 behind Tapia and Coello, who they have won three of the four tournaments so far in 2024 . Two dates marked in red in which the first two Spanish players to achieve world number 1 will be seen together again.

They commented:

“Very happy to be back! After 5 years we got together with a great desire to give everything on the court. An exciting challenge begins,” Juan Lebrón wrote on his Twitter account.

A new stage that originated from the decision made by Alejandro Galán approximately a month ago after what happened in Doha with Juan Lebrón.

Paquito Navarro’s first stage together with Juan Lebrón lasted only one year. Of course, in that season both made history by becoming the first Spaniards to touch the padel sky thanks to the five titles won in Alicante, Jaén, Valladolid, Bastad and Sao Paulo.
However, despite their sporting success, the strong personalities of both, as both would recognize shortly afterwards, took its toll on them and they decided to part ways to maintain their friendship.
