Starvie has developed various finishes, including the Star by Alen with no roughness, the Titania with less effective roughness, Starby’s full plane effect, and the Star Kenta with an extremely noticeable roughness called Hex Tech.
The Star Kenta, with its hexagonal shape, covers all angles and makes the paddle racket harder, making it suitable for power players. Felipe and the presenter plan to test the rackets on court to observe the differences between the roughness finishes. The speaker also shares his personal experience with the Dros and Kenta rackets, both of which have rough surfaces.
He notes that the roughness is more pronounced in the Dros and feels that it helps him get more spin on the ball.
