In the heart of Dubai’s fast-growing padel scene, three young Black Britons—Daniel Agard, Jason Dolphin, and Peter Blenman—have sparked a movement. Under the name The Padel Mob, they’ve done more than just start a club; they’ve cultivated an energetic, inclusive space that’s bringing people together through the joy of sport.
Launched earlier this year, The Padel Mob began modestly. What started as casual Wednesday and Sunday meetups with only 15 members has rapidly evolved into a spirited community of more than 500 players. The club has attracted a diverse group that includes Black Britons, expatriates from around the globe, and a number of well-known athletes.
Among their most high-profile supporters are British heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, Dutch football star Ryan Babel, and West Ham forward Michail Antonio—all of whom have been spotted hitting balls and soaking in the lively, welcoming atmosphere.
More than just a club, The Padel Mob has become a cultural hub. It’s a place where competitiveness and camaraderie go hand in hand, where newcomers are encouraged and where diversity is not just present but celebrated. What Agard, Dolphin, and Blenman have built reflects a new chapter in Dubai’s sporting story—one shaped by energy, openness, and a love for the game.
