The grand opening took place on June 16 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by exhibition matches and complimentary beginner clinics to introduce guests and members to the fast-growing sport.
These courts are the first of their kind in the United States, featuring “infinity extreme” designs capable of withstanding winds up to 160 miles per hour. The addition reflects the resort’s commitment to innovation and its desire to stay ahead of emerging trends in recreational sports.
Padel, a hybrid of tennis and squash, has seen a surge in popularity worldwide, with over 30 million players across 130 countries. Boar’s Head Resort’s new courts are part of a broader initiative to enhance its Sports Club offerings, which already include nationally ranked tennis and pickleball programs.
Guests and members can now reserve court time, sign up for clinics, and participate in summer camps through the resort’s website or front desk. Court time is complimentary for members through June 30, after which standard fees will apply.
