Indoor Padel Revolution has launched an initiative that blends sports with compassion, bringing joy to the animals at Randburg SPCA. Through their project, Pawdel, the organization has donated 600 padel balls to the shelter, offering comfort and enrichment to the animals while they wait for their forever homes.
The initiative encourages local padel players to donate their used balls instead of discarding them. These donations provide shelter dogs with stimulation, helping them stay active and engaged. Some of the balls are also used in outreach programs that support disadvantaged communities struggling with stray animal issues.
Beyond the immediate benefits for the animals, the project has a broader impact. A portion of the donated balls will be available for purchase at the Randburg SPCA, with 100% of the proceeds going toward essential supplies such as food and blankets.
Indoor Padel Revolution hopes to expand the program to other shelters in the future, ensuring that more animals can benefit from this thoughtful initiative. For those interested in contributing, donations can be made at the Indoor Padel Revolution center, where the team remains committed to making a difference in the lives of shelter animals.
