Manizales has officially inaugurated Pádel del Río, a modern sports facility designed to serve the growing demand for padel and other recreational activities. The complex features three padel courts, a pickleball court, a gym, parking areas, a restaurant, and coworking spaces, making it a versatile destination for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
To celebrate the grand opening, 200 players from across Colombia gathered in Manizales to participate in the National Open Championship, an event that highlights the increasing popularity of padel in the country. The tournament schedule spans three days, offering intense competition and showcasing the sport’s dynamic appeal.
Padel has gained significant traction worldwide due to its accessibility and social nature.
