Padel Australia has joined forces with Empower Padel to launch a series of events aimed at increasing opportunities for women and girls in the sport. The collaboration will introduce three major events across Australia, starting in Canberra on July 19, followed by tournaments in Brisbane and Albury.

The initiative, titled “Three Cities, One Movement,” is designed by women for women, offering entry-level coaching, social gameplay, prizes, and networking opportunities. Tennis Australia Marketing Manager Dulcie Davies emphasized the importance of creating spaces where women can build confidence and enjoy the sport in a supportive environment.

“These events offer women an exciting entry point into a sport that’s fast, fun and easy to learn. They offer a space for women to build networks, confidence, and just have a great time,” said Tennis Australia Marketing Manager Dulcie Davies.

“Our partnership with Empower Padel will offer more opportunities and pathways for women to step into Padel at both grassroots and professional levels.”

Empower Padel’s mission is to provide pathways for female players at both grassroots and professional levels. The partnership with Padel Australia aligns with this vision, ensuring that more women have access to structured training and competitive play.

With padel’s popularity growing rapidly worldwide, these events mark a significant step in expanding the sport’s reach in Australia. Players and enthusiasts can register for the events and learn more about the initiative through Padel Australia’s official website.
