A1 Padel has released an official statement confirming that its planned circuit schedule is no longer in effect, signaling a significant shift in its operations. The organization, created by Monte Carlo International Sports, is currently negotiating with one of the world’s largest sports agencies to redefine its strategy for the future.
As part of its revised approach, A1 Padel intends to host four major tournaments this year, with venues already selected. These events will serve as a preview of the new direction the circuit will take in the upcoming season. The organization has assured players, brands, and collaborators that further details will be announced in the coming days.
Despite the difficulties faced, A1 Padel remains committed to its long-term vision. The statement also confirmed that the Fabrice Pastor Cup will continue with an expanded schedule, culminating in a Master Final in San José, Costa Rica, in November.
This was the official statement.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT A1 PADEL From Monte Carlo International Sports, as creators of A1 Padel, we would like to inform you that as of this date, the planned circuit schedule is no longer in effect. We will provide information in the coming days on the next steps within the framework of this major project. As we’ve previously reported, we’re in negotiations with the world’s largest sports agency to define the strategy and direction A1 Padel will take starting next year.
As part of this action plan, we plan to hold four major tournaments this year, in already defined venues that we will announce in the coming days.
These tournaments will serve as a showcase for the events being planned for the upcoming season. It has not been easy to make this decision, which obviously affects many people: the players, the brands, the organizers, and our GREAT team of collaborators who have been the architects of the circuit we have managed to build. We also announce that we will continue with the Fabrice Pastor Cup schedule, which has been updated this year with more venues and will feature a Master Final in San José, Costa Rica, for the first time in November.
We want to thank everyone for their support and assure them that we look to the future with great optimism, as we always have, working for and on behalf of padel. Board of Directors Monte Carlo International Sports
