Trent Alexander-Arnold joins Galán and Chingotto training session

At the M3 Padel Center in Leganés, where Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto train under the methodology of Jorge Martínez, the duo received a prestigious visitor as they prepared for the end of the season: Trent Alexander-Arnold.

A surprise visit during recovery

Currently sidelined for several weeks due to a quadriceps injury, the Real Madrid full-back initially traveled to the facility to watch his brothers Tyler and Marcel, who take lessons there. Unexpectedly, he found himself facing some of the best padel players in the world.

A passion for padel

Alexander-Arnold has long been a fan of padel, even building a court in the garden of his Liverpool property. At Leganés, he was able to watch Galán, Chingotto, Fran Guerrero—qualified for the Master Final—and Manu Castaño, a world champion and Spanish youth champion.

Impressed by intensity and precision

According to the M3 staff, Alexander-Arnold was struck by the level of training. He took advantage of the moment to interact with the players and experience firsthand the intensity of a high-level session.

“He was impressed by the intensity and precision of the work,” the M3 staff reported.

Padel’s growing appeal

The visit highlighted the increasing fascination padel holds for elite athletes. It also served as a lighthearted nod to Ale Galán, a devoted Real Madrid supporter, who welcomed the presence of one of the club’s stars at his training ground.
