THE DRAW. The FIP World Cup Pairs has kicked off in Kuwait, bringing together the best padel players in the world with 2,000 ranking points on the line.

Kuwait is hosting the inaugural edition of the FIP World Cup Pairs, a high-stakes tournament that features 48 men’s pairs and 40 women’s pairs. The event runs through the week, culminating in the finals on Sunday, November 9. Positioned between the Premier Padel P2 in Newgiza and the season’s final stretch—including Dubai P1, Acapulco Major, CUPRA FIP Finals in Shanghai, and the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona—this competition marks a pivotal moment in the global padel calendar.

Men’s draw packed with elite contenders

Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia, winners of 10 Premier titles in 2025, enter as top seeds and will face Patiniotis/Moya or a qualifying pair. On the opposite side of the draw, Fede Chingotto and Ale Galán—fresh off back-to-back titles in Milan and Newgiza—will meet Sanchez/Gil or Sans/Quilez.

Juan Lebrón and Franco Stupaczuk (3) are set to play Lijó/Arce or Zapata/Cabeza, while Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas (4) will face Torre/Cepero or Fernandez Lancha/Sager, with a potential semifinal against Coello and Tapia.

Women’s draw promises fierce battles

Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay lead the women’s draw as top seeds, followed by Paula Josemaría and Ari Sánchez, who arrive in Kuwait with two consecutive titles. Claudia Fernandez/Bea Gonzalez and Andrea Ustero/Sofia Araujo complete the top four, all starting from the round of 16.

Ale Salazar and Martina Calvo, finalists in Egypt, are seeded seventh and face a challenging path.
