During a recent test session in Valencia, Dunlop offered an exclusive look at its unreleased 2025 padel rackets. The event allowed select players to try out prototypes and compare them with existing models, including the Dunlop Galactica Pro LS. The testing focused on control, power, and maneuverability, with players offering feedback on feel and responsiveness.
Comparing with the Galactica Pro LS
The Dunlop Galactica Pro LS, already a favorite among intermediate and advanced players, served as a benchmark during the session. Known for its tear-shaped design, 16K carbon face, and Pro EVA core, the Galactica Pro LS offers a balanced mix of control and rebound. According to Padelful’s 2025 review, it scores 7.8 in control, 8.6 in maneuverability, and 8.4 for sweet spot coverage.
The unreleased rackets showed subtle differences in weight distribution and impact feel. Some models featured a hybrid frame profile and higher balance point, suggesting a shift toward more aggressive play styles.
Early impressions and feedback
Players noted improved vibration absorption and a more forgiving sweet spot on certain prototypes. The use of Sonic Core Infinergy and Tri-Max reinforcement—technologies already present in the Galactica Pro LS—appears to have been refined in the new lineup.
While official specs and release dates remain under wraps, the feedback from Valencia suggests Dunlop is aiming to enhance comfort and precision without sacrificing power.
