Ecuador Padel Stars brings Tapia and Chingotto to Quito as ticket pre-sale begins

Banco Guayaquil has officially launched the Ecuador Padel Stars American Express tournament, a landmark event that will bring two of the world’s top-ranked padel players—Agustín Tapia (world No. 1) and Federico Chingotto (world No. 2)—to Quito for the first time. The event marks a significant milestone for the sport in Ecuador, which continues to grow in popularity across the country.

Two days of exclusive experiences

The tournament will feature two main events. On Friday, December 16, fans will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive Meet & Greet with Tapia and Chingotto at the Quorum on Paseo San Francisco. The session will include photo opportunities, autographs, and interactive on-court activities.

The following day, Saturday, December 17, the highly anticipated exhibition match between the two stars will take place at the Rancho San Francisco facilities. The match is expected to draw fans from across the region, eager to witness elite-level padel in a local setting.

Ticket pre-sale and general access

Pre-sale tickets are available from October 22 to 24 exclusively for American Express Banco Guayaquil customers and Club Rancho San Francisco members via the meet2go platform. General ticket sales will open on October 27.

Customers purchasing VIP packages—which include access to both the Meet & Greet and the exhibition match—using American Express or Banco Guayaquil cards will receive a 10% discount.

A boost for padel’s growth in Ecuador

The event underscores Banco Guayaquil and American Express’s shared goal of promoting sports and delivering premium experiences to their clients. With padel gaining momentum in Ecuador, the arrival of Tapia and Chingotto is expected to inspire a new generation of players and fans.

“We are proud to support an event that brings world-class athletes to Ecuador and strengthens the connection between sport and community,” said a Banco Guayaquil spokesperson during the launch announcement.

As anticipation builds, the Ecuador Padel Stars tournament promises to be a defining moment for the sport in the country.
