Many padel players assume that increased court time will naturally lead to better performance. But frequent play without targeted improvement strategies often leads to stagnation. According to Sandy Farquharson, founder of The Padel School, “You can play five times a week and still not improve if you’re repeating the same mistakes”.
Plateaus are common in padel, especially among intermediate players who rely on match play alone. Without structured training, technical refinement, and mental focus, players risk reinforcing poor habits rather than correcting them.
