The Pro Padel League returns to New York City for its season-ending City’s Cup Finals, hosted at the Hammerstein Ballroom from October 16 to 19. The venue transforms into a padel battleground as the top eight teams from the regular season compete for the league’s ultimate prize.
Quarterfinals Begin Today
Thursday’s schedule opens with the women’s quarterfinals at 4:00 p.m. ET:
-
Florida (1) vs. Miami (8)
-
San Diego (2) vs. Cancun (7)
The men’s matches follow in the evening:
-
Miami (1) vs. Arkansas (8)
-
San Diego (2) vs. Houston (7)
Each match follows the PPL’s format: best-of-three sets, Golden Point scoring, and a 10-point super tiebreak instead of a full third set.
Format and Scoring System
Teams earn points based on the performance of both their men’s and women’s pairs. The squad with the highest combined score across all rounds will be crowned the 2025 City’s Cup Champion.
“We’re proud to bring the world’s fastest-growing sport to one of its most iconic stages,” said Marcos del Pilar, PPL Commissioner.
Global Broadcast and Fan Access
All matches are streamed live on YouTube, with feeds available in both English and Spanish to accommodate the league’s international audience.
Looking Ahead
The City’s Cup Finals run through Sunday, October 19, culminating in the championship match that will decide the 2025 season’s top team. With adrenaline-pumping rallies, strategic shot-making, and a vibrant atmosphere, the event showcases the very best of professional padel.
