The 2026 Hexagon Cup confirms player rosters and teams ahead of Caja Mágica debut

The Hexagon Cup will return from January 28 to February 1, 2026, launching the padel season with a fresh venue and a lineup of elite talent. This year, the tournament moves to the iconic Caja Mágica in Madrid, promising a high-energy atmosphere and fierce competition. All eight franchises have now finalized their player drafts, setting the stage for a thrilling edition.

Each team is composed of three pairs: one male, one female, and one NextGen duo. The format continues to blend experience with emerging talent, offering fans a dynamic showcase of padel’s present and future.

Franchise owners bring global flair

The Hexagon Cup is known not only for its competitive format but also for its celebrity-backed franchises. Owners include Eva Longoria, Sergio Agüero, Andy Murray, Robert Lewandowski, and Leo Messi, each bringing their own vision and influence to the sport.

Format and expectations

The Hexagon Cup’s format encourages strategic depth, with mixed-gender and generational matchups across each round. Teams compete in group stages followed by knockout rounds, with the final held on February 1.

Organizers have emphasized the importance of diversity and innovation. “We want to showcase padel’s global reach and its next generation of stars,” said a spokesperson from Hexagon Cup management.
